THE Leader is asking visitors to our website to help campaigners in their fight to save Dromore’s Skeagh House by signing our newly posted on-line petition.
Shortly after the Southern Health and Social Care Trust announced its proposal to close the Skeagh House residential home, The Leader weighed in behind the speedily launched opposition campaign.
We joined Lagan Valley MP Jeffrey Donaldson and the local DUP in launching a widely available petition, also carried in The Leader, which has to date been signed by some 2,000 people.
Now, as the Skeagh House Action Committee forges ahead with its comprehensive campaign in defence of Skeagh House, The Leader too is widening the scope for protest by inviting you to sign our petition on-line.
