Sadness after second Houston death in a month

THE funeral service takes place today (Tuesday) of Mr Kennedy Houston (87) who passed away on Sunday at Craigavon Area Hospital.

Mr Houston, co-founder of well known town retailing business, Houston Brothers, had been ill for some time and had been unable to attend the funeral of his brother, Robert, who passed away a month ago after also suffering from long-term illness.

Mr Houston will be laid to rest following a service at Bannside Presbyterian Church starting at 2pm

The well-known businessman was married to Maud and had two sons, Philip and Peter. He is also survived by daughters-in-law Lyn and Joanne and six grandchildren - Gareth, Andrew, Sophie, Rachel, James and Charlotte.
