BOOKMARK - WEEK 13
BOOKMARK narrowly missed out on the big bucks last week.
While I got the two Irish League picks right we were unfortunate that Blackburn were held by Liverpool to a scoreless goal.
So after hitting the post last week I'll be looking to follow up on the rebound this time around.
And the first of my picks this time round are Glentoran, who will be looking to bounce back from their shock defeat to Crusaders in the CIS Cup against Coleraine on Saturday. The Bannsiders were the first team Glenavon have beaten at home all season in the league and believe me, they couldn't hit a cow's behind with a banjo. The Glens are 8/13 to win.
Cliftonville travel to Donegal Celtic on Saturday and are strong favourites to win. DC are a physical side but are all shove and produce no end result, unlike Cliftonville who can score goals for fun on their day. I'd expect them to win and to win comfortably at 10/11.
Finally, in one of only two 3pm kick off's in the Premiership West Ham travel to Derby, who sit rock bottom of the Premiership and have a number of key injury worries ahead of the match. West Ham are 5/4.
