BOOKMARK - WEEK 18

SO here we are at week 18 and already I've clocked up more wins than Colly Malone. Ahem.

It's the start of a very busy time in football as one of the most crucial times in the sport's calendar creeps upon us.

And it's a big weekend for teams who are maybe looking to pull away from relegation battles or push for European places.

Ballymena travel to Donegal Celtic this Saturday having gone unbeaten in their last five games, winning four of those in the process. DC, however, have not won any games at home this year and have only taken one point at their Suffolk Road ground. Ballymena are 11/10.

With most of the local sport being wiped out last weekend I decided to watch Wolves' game with Burnley live on Sky on Saturday. I know they lost but from what I saw I would be fairly certain that they would beat Queens Park Rangers who sit one place off the bottom of the Championship. The Molineaux club are worth a punt at 7/5.

Finally Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa appear to have turned a corner recently (again, they lost last week but nonetheless they're performing better than last season). They face lowly Sunderland who really are struggling at the minute but have been performing well of late at home - three wins and two draws are keeping them in with a shout of staying up - but really Villa should be too strong for them. The Villans are 11/8.

A score on Aston Villa, Ballymena and Wolves will return 239 if successful. Prices given are only a guide but for a full list visit Toals' branch at Scarva Street, Banbridge and at their website - www.toals.co.uk
