BOOKMARK - WEEK 22

BOOKMARK'S back this week with a vengance.

Well, not really, we're just after a win because we've not had one in a bit.

And I've taken a gamble - then again, isn't that what Bookmark is all about? - on Armagh City to beat Limavady at the Showgrounds tonight (Friday).

All the Irish League games have been moved to tonight due to the CIS Cup final. But it offers an opportunity for several of Gary McKinstry's new signings, of which there are 11, to get a game. Limavady are, according to the league table, worse than Glenavon so they will lose this game. Well, that's my rationale for this punt anyway. City are 7/4.

Away from the Irish League this Saturday Chelsea play Portsmouth in a bid to keep the chase on their title rivals, Manchester United and Arsenal.

While Portsmouth are hoping to get a win and get points for Europe at the end of the day Chelsea will be too strong for Pompey. Expect Chelsea to win and Nicolas Anelka to grab a couple. It'll be a Blue Day at 8/11.

Finally this week Crystal Palace host Southampton at home. Palace have pulled themselves into contention for a playoff spot at the very least under the leadership of manager Neil Warnock. Southampton, however, are very Jeckyll and Hyde, however on Saturday I would expect them to be more like Hyde. Palace are 8/11.
