BOOKMARK - WEEK 24

IT'S time to blow another £20 on Bookmark.

I'm feeling confident Glenavon will beat Limavady this week, despite a lack of a goalkeeper and only having a couple of strikers, and for that reason I'm refusing to back them because they always lose, ruin my bet, ruin my weekend and break my heart.

So instead I'm relying on Ballymena to cheer me up when they take on struggling Dungannon Swifts. Ballymena are one of the Irish League's in form teams, and while I don't think they will challenge for League honours they will certainly push for a European spot and, at the very least, a place in the Setanta Cup. A win on Saturday will help them on their way at 17/10.

Cliftonville go to another struggling side this week, Institute, in the hope of continuing their push for the title. Stute offer very little up front and are dodgy - very dodgy - at the back, so Cliftonville's team unit should be able to dominate the play. They're 8/13.

Finally this week I'm dipping into the Championship to back Cardiff as they take on Sheffield Wednesday. Cardiff are in need of a win to get back into the race for the playoffs, while Wednesday sit one foot off the bottom of the table. Cardiff are 13/8.

Backing Ballymena United, Cliftonville and Cardiff on a 20 treble will return just shy of 210. Prices given are only a guide - for a full guide check www.toals.co.uk or visit their branch at Scarva Street, Banbridge.
