BOOKMARK - WEEK FIVE

BOOKMARK takes a break from league action to focus on the international fixtures going on across Europe this weekend.

Maybe we'll have more luck with our international fixtures than we did with our league fixtures last week as Larne, once again, spoiled things for us. You'd nearly think they had something against me!

World champions Italy face France in the San Siro, Milan. The last time the two sides met the French got revenge for the World Cup final defeat by winning 3-1 in Paris, however I don't think there'll be a winner this time. Italy and France to draw is priced at 19/10.

I'm also going to back Bosnia-Herzegovina to beat Hungary on Saturday. The Hungarians have had a horrific Euro 2008 campaign, taking only six points during the campaign, however they did beat Italy in a friendly recently. Nonetheless, the momentum in the group is with second placed Bosnia and so I'm backing them at 15/8.

Finally, Northern Ireland have to win on Saturday against Latvia. If they don't then I fear I will have wasted 400 on my week in Gran Canaria. At least 'our wee country' is winning games and scoring goals, and despite the withdrawl of key players like Damien Johnston the reintroduction of Aaron Hughes and Jonny Evans is a huge bonus. NI are 6/5 to win.

A 20 treble backing Italy/France draw, Bosnia to win and NI to win will return almost 370 (we're really going for it this week!). Prices given are only a guide and for a full pricelist check Toals' website at Toals.co.uk or go into any Toals Bookmakers office.
