WITH just over a month to go until Northern Ireland’s most anticipated music event of the year, Tennent’s Vital and MCD are thrilled to announce that The Cribs will join Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, The Minutes and Trucker Diablo on Day 1 of Tennent’s Vital.
The Cribs’ new album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ hit the UK Top 10 upon its release in May, gaining huge critical acclaim. The release marks a return to the band’s classic three-piece status and heralds another chapter in the upwards trajectory of the Jarman brothers. NME said the album
“explodes with immediate, attention-grabbing riffs” and awarded it 9/10 and it hit the UK Top 10.
Tracks like Men’s Needs, Hey Scenesters’ and ‘Cheat On Me’ have established The Cribs as huge festival favourites and they return to Tennent’s Vital having originally appeared in 2005.
US rock icons Foo Fighters will make their long awaited Northern Irish debut on the back of their most successful year ever. Their latest album Wasting Light’ went straight to No.1 in 12 countries and helped them to pick up five Grammy Awards and their phenomenal festival and arena tour was a huge commercial and critical success.
