The passing of Martha Elizabeth Macaulay took place in Craigavon Area Hospital on Saturday 12 September.

Lila as she was affectionately known to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her was the dearly loved wife of the late Eric Macaulay who resided at 21 Dromara Road, Leitrim but recently had moved to 12 Crozier Mews, Ballygowan Road. Here she made many friends.

The family appreciated all that was done in Craigavon Area Hospital, by Dr A. Chestnut and the kindness of her neighbours at Crozier Mews.

She is survived by two sons Jackie Macaulay (Magherhamlet) and James Macaulay (Leitrim), one daughter Irene McIlveen (Cloughey, Ards Peninsula), grandchildren, great grandchildren and sisters Pamela, Christine and Doreen. To these and all other relatives sincere sympathy has been extended.

The funeral took place from her home 12 Crozier Mews on Monday of last week for a service in Drumgooland Presbyterian Church at which the minister in charge of the vacancy the Rev. K. Nelson gave an inspiring address. ‘The 23rd Psalm’ and ‘Abide with Me’ were sung.
