Lord Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Darryn Causby, will be hopping aboard the Small Business Bus when it rides into Banbridge Town this Thursday.
He is asking all small local business and members of the public to join him on his journey to support Small Business Saturday.
The Small Business Bus will be situated outside The Mall, Newry Street, from 9am to 11am as part of a nationwide tour to promote Small Business Saturday which this year takes place on Saturday, December 5.
The bus will be providing information packs outlining how small local businesses can become involved and what benefits can be gained from participation in the national campaign.
Local small businesses will also have the opportunity to promote their business by providing promotional materials which can be displayed and handed out at the bus.
Information will also be available to the general public providing encouragement on supporting our many small businesses.
Mr Causby said: “We should never underestimate the importance of local small businesses and the positive impact they have on our local economy. They are the lifeblood of our town centres and provide a valuable sense of identity for our local areas.
“I would encourage everyone to come along to the Small Business Bus and find out more about this important campaign.”
Small Business Saturday aims to get over five million small business across the UK involved with the aim of promoting and reinforcing the important contribution they make to our town centres and the wider community.
