Banbridge based amenity supplier Coburn’s is helping the team at the Royal County Down Golf Club to keep the Championship course in first class condition ahead of the upcoming Irish Open 2015.
Royal County Down, which is counted amongst the best links golf courses in the world, is a long-standing customer of Coburn’s, relying on them for a range of top quality grass seed and fertilisers.
The course is soon set to host the world’s top golfing talent at the prestigious Irish Open, taking place from May 28-31.
According to Course Manager Eamonn Crawford, it’s the excellent customer service provided by Coburn’s which sets them apart as a supplier. “We can always rely on Coburn’s to respond quickly when we place an order, and know that they will keep us informed of new products and provide expert advice when we need it,” said Eamonn.
“The quality of their grass seed is second to none, which is crucial for us as we are committed to providing our customers with a consistently world class golfing experience.
“Preparations for the Irish Open are now well underway and it’s been a really busy time, so it’s great to have a trusted supplier like Coburn’s on board to provide us with support whenever it’s needed.”
David Eager, Technical Sales Representative for Coburn’s, added: “We are delighted to be working with Royal County Down and I look forward to catching up with Eamonn and his team every few weeks.
“We provide them with top quality fescue cultivars for the links course, as well as a range of fertilisers and other amenity products.
“Their professionalism and dedication is second to none and we have no doubt that the course will be looking its absolute best for the Irish Open.
“The sense of excitement is really building across County Down and beyond and we wish them all the very best during the busy period ahead.”
