A 32-year-old man has admitted having offensive weapons, a knuckle duster and a knife, in his possession in Banbridge on September 15 this year.
Jonathan Dean Gartland, Scarva Walk, Banbridge, will be sentenced next month at the local magistrates’ court.
He has admitted possessing an offensive weapon, namely a dumb bell locking nut as a knuckle duster, at Scarva Place, Banbridge.
Gartland has also pleaded guilty to a second possession of an offensive weapon, a pocket knife, on the same date and location.
No facts were outlined in the case and it was adjourned until December 3 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
