Upper Bann MP David Simpson has expressed concern at the ‘increasing availability of drugs in the area’ after a recent drugs find by police.
“Following an “area rummage search” by Banbridge PSNI, a considerable quantity of suspected class A drugs have been seized,” said Mr. Simpson. “This particular search follows on from a number of other searches in the area in recent days.
“I would call on members of the public to be vigilant of suspicious behaviour and I would ask anyone with information on this recent discovery to come forward and assist the PSNI with their investigation.
“The increasing availability of drugs in our area is extremely worrying and as a society we must work together to tackle this issue head on!”
