Man (27) in court on sex charges against a girl under the age of 16
A 27-year-old man has appeared at Banbridge Magistrates Court charged with a sexual offence.
He was David Armstrong, Frazer Park, Annaclone.
He was charged with a sexual offence against a girl under the age of 16 when he appeared last Thursday.
The charge against him alleges that on June 5 this year he intentionally engaged in the sexual touching of a female under the age of 16.
A police officer told the court, sitting in Newry, he believed he could connect the defendant with the charge.
Armstrong was remanded on his own bail of £500 to appear again in court on September 1.
