Registration is now open for the first Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Heart & Sole Colour Dash.

Up to 1,000 runners and walkers are expected to ‘dash’ Lurgan Park with colour when this much anticipated event takes place at 2pm on Sunday 17th April.

You don’t have to be an athlete to take part, you can run, walk or a mixture of both – the colour dash is entirely for fun!

The event kicks off with a fun group warm up before taking to the course and getting doused with colour powder at various points.

Once over the finish line the DJ will keep everyone entertained until the countdown for the ‘colour throw’ that will fill the sky with an amazing rainbow of colour.

You must register for the event as entries will not be taken on the day. Adults tickets cost £15 and children 14 years and under cost £10 with all proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland.

An additional compulsory administration fee will be added at checkout (20%) from eventbrite.com and is not initiated by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

“This is a fantastic event for novice runners and walkers of all ages and abilities – it is not a race just simply a colourful afternoon of fun,” said Lord Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Darryn Causby.

“The colour dash is also a great opportunity for families and friends to get outdoors, enjoy the park, have fun, exercise and raise vital funds for charity”

Don’t miss out and get signed up to the first Heart & Sole Colour Dash, organised by ABC Council in association with the Public Health Authority, British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland, Intersport and Tesco.

Registration is open until Wednesday 13th April and places are limited.
