Sinn Féin MLA John O’Dowd has wished Banbridge Sinn Féin Councillor Brendan Curran a full and speedy recovery following his recent operation.
Mr O’Dowd said: “My colleague Cllr Curran has underwent surgery and is thankfully recovering well, he will however be unable to attend council meetings for a while as he recuperates from the surgery.
“Cllr Curran has asked me to once again pass on his thanks to all the staff in the Royal Victoria Hospital where he underwent his surgery. He could not speak highly enough of their caring professional approach and dedication to their patients.”
Concluding Mr O’ Dowd said: “Brendan is a hard working public representative but he will have to listen to the advice of his doctors and for once take things easy.”
“His fellow Banbridge councillor Pól Ó Gribín will continue to represent the party position on the Council with our Upper Bann Constituency office dealing with Brendan’s constituency work.”
