Car hit by large boulder

A DRIVER escaped injury when their car was hit by a large boulder at the Scarva Road just after midnight on Sunday.

Police said the incident, involving a silver Toyota Yaris, happened near the Edenderry steps.

The car was damaged but the driver was fortunate to escape unharmed.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact them in Banbridge on 0845 600 8000.
