GROUP SEEKS 'ACTION STATION' IN DROMORE TOWN HALL

CONSIDERATION is to be given to the Dromore in Action Group as regards to acquiring office accommodation in the Town Hall.

A recent meeting of Banbridge District Council's Leisure and Development Committee heard that the decision would be determined by the square footage of space to be utilised.

Councillor Carol Black gave her full support to the request for accommodation.

The Dromore in Action Group is responsible for the delivery of a community development based initiative aimed at providing a range of quality of life issues for the local community.

The group have recently been successful in appointing a Development Worker for a three year period, who will also service the recently formed group at Seapatrick, Banbridge and another group based in Annesborough, Castlewellan.
