Large amount of soft drinks stolen from chippy

POLICE are appealing for information after a large amount of soft drinks were stolen from a chip shop.

Some time between 9pm on Tuesday, 31 July and 9am on Wednesday, 1 August, entry was gained to the fast food outlet in Brookefield Industrial Estate when the drinks were taken.

Constable O’Toole, Banbridge Response, said: “This is a small business serving the needs of the local community and a burglary of this nature can have serious financial repercussions for the owners.

“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed any activity around the premises during these times to contact us in Banbridge on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
