New member appointed to SRC Governing Body

EMPLOYMENT and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry recently appointed a new member to the Governing Body of the Southern Regional College.

Nicola Wilson was appointed on August 1 for a period of four years, following a competition regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland in accordance with the Commissioner’s Code of Practice.

Councillor Sylvia McRoberts was nominated by the Southern Education and Library Board to serve for a second term. Her re-appointment took effect from April 3 and is for a period of four years.

Mrs Eileen Wright was nominated by the Southern Education and Library Board to serve for a second term. Her re-appointment also took effect from April 3 and is for four years.

Henry McCloy and Michael Purcell were elected by staff of Southern Regional College. Mr McCloy was elected to serve a second term; his re-appointment took effect from February 27 and is for a period of four years.
