Sex assault investigation dropped

FOLLOWING further enquiries police have now said they are no longer investigating a report of an alleged serious sexual assault in Dromore on Sunday.

A file is now being prepared for the PPS in relation to false allegations made by a 22 year-old female.

This morning’s Leader reports that an alleged sexual assault is being investigated - that is now no longer the case.
