Youth Resource Centre re-opens

BANBRIDGE Youth Resource Centre will be open to all young people from September 10 till June 2013.

The centre will be open on Monday nights for senior members aged 13 and over from 7–9pm and Thursday nights for junior members aged 8-12 years from 6.30–8.30pm.

To register call up on the night relevant to you and collect a membership form. Annual membership is £2 and nightly entrance fee is 50p.

All membership forms must be signed by parents/guardian.

The centre offers a warm, caring environment with excellent facilities and friendly staff and volunteers, They have a variety of sports, creative arts and craft projects, creative use of ICT, informal educational programmes, training programmes for young people and adults, work experience for young people that would like a career in youth work and many other activities.

They welcome young people from all communities, young people with special needs, feedback from parents and the community and suggestions from young people.

And they need and welcome the support of adult volunteers who have three hours to spare on a weekly basis. All adults must be approved by Access NI.
