Banbridge Children’s Hospice Support Group is delighted to announce that £1,270 has been raised for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice through their Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in Ballydown Presbyterian Church last month.

The fundraising group were thrilled to see so many local families coming along to this special fun filled event and very special Woodland Wonderland tea party.

Diane Cherry, Chairperson of Banbridge Children’s Hospice Support Group said: “We were overwhelmed by the support we received and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who volunteered and all the families that came along on the day. I would especially like to thank Ballydown Presbyterian Church for allowing us to use their hall and all the local businesses and organisations

“A special mention must go to, Power NI, who very generously donated £250 towards the event as part of their ‘Helping Hands’ staff sponsorship scheme”.

Power NI employee and Support Group volunteer, Amy Bennington, had nominated the charity.

All funds raised will be used to provide special nursing care to life limited children and their families across Northern Ireland.
