Vast choice of summer activities for young people

Kids have a sizzling summer ahead of them with a host of activities taking place as part of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council's Summer Activity Programme.

Courses in canoeing, climbing, multi sports and hip hop dance will commence the first week in July with many more to follow later in July and August.

For those adventure seekers aged 8 – 14 years, Gilford Community Centre will host both a climbing course and a canoeing course from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 July.

The cost to participate in each course will be £12 for the first child and £10 for each additional child from the family.

Two courses, multi-sports and hip-hop dance, will be held at Fair Hill Primary School for children aged 5 to 11. The multi sports course will run from 10am to 12noon from Monday 4 July until Friday 8 July, followed by the hip hop dance course from 1.30pm – 3pm which will be held from Monday 4 July until Thursday 7 July.
