Aghaderg set for Drumaness clash on Friday

GAELIC football - The Aghaderg senior footballers play this Friday at home to Drumaness. Training continues every Monday evening.

Hurling/camogie - The Ballyvarley senior hurlers had no game last week. The hurlers play at home to Ballygalget on Wednesday July 1. Throw in at 7.30pm.

Senior training continues every Sunday at 12.15pm sharp. Under 16 hurling training continues every Monday at 6pm. Hurling and camogie coaching continues on Saturdays for children aged between 6-12. The younger children’s session is from 10-11am & for the older players from 11am-12.15pm.

Fixtures: U16 football - home v Drumgath 08/07/09; U14 football - home v Drumgath. 02/07/09; U12 football - away v Glassdrumman 05/07/09; U14 hurling - away v Warrenpoint 30/06/09; home v Castlewellan 07/07/09.

Summer camp - The annual summer camp will be held during the week of July 6-10 and provides coaching in hurling, camogie and football for players aged between 7-14.

The cost is 30 per child for five days coaching from 10am to 2.30pm. On the final day each child will receive and kit bag, socks, shorts and jersey.

Application forms are now available; contact your team mentors or Aidan Hegarty. Those who have forms completed should return them to Aidan Hegarty at 11 Poyntzpass Road, Loughbrickland as soon as possible with cheques made payable to Aghaderg GFC.

Lotto news - This week’s jackpot was 5650. This week’s numbers were 10, 12, 25, 27 but there were no winners. Next week’s jackpot is 5700.
