Defeat for Town U9s

BANBRIDGE Town U9s played Sunnyside on Saturday past at Brownstown Development Centre but lost out 6-3.

Town actually took the lead first when Harry Annett gave them the lead to make it 1-0 but Sunnyside equalised within a minute.

Banbridge took the lead again when through Owen Wilson but back came Sunnyside to take a 3-2 lead.

In the second period Sunnyside made it 4-2 but Town replied through Alex Innocenzi to make it 4-3.

Toby Jones had a great game in goals while Bobby Jones and Josh Kerr both had solid peformances again. Jack Murray, Calum and Daniel McGivern also had very good games but with two late goals Sunnyside ran out 6 - 3 winners.

The other Under 9 team won 4-2 with a great win against Tandragee Rovers.
