Dromore U14s cruise to victory to set up quarter final tie against Dungannon

Dromore travelled to Valley Rangers 3G pitch to play Annalong in the last game of the group stage and came away with a comfrotable 3-0 win.

Dromore played the first half into a strong wind. The defenders, Nathan, Patrick and Joel played so well and it is great to see their strengths improving in power and accuracy and timing of challenges.

Phil had the job of marking Annalongs play maker and did a very good job. He was forced further back but could not stop a great timed ball from Luke who played a beautiful to Briggs who cut in from the right, got in front of the box and calmly put the ball across the keeper and into the corner of the net.

The second goal came when Karl won the ball and passed to Phil whose shot was saved but Briggs followed it up to score.

Annalong came out very strongly after half time and Joel and Patrick made many great clearances and Josh made two outstanding saves, one right down at the players feet.

The winning goal came from a Dromore corner which a the Annalong defender could only head to the outside of the box, where Phil met the ball and guided it into the right side of the net with the keeper well beaten.
