Dromore were looking to keep up the winning spirit after their first win the previous week, but as per usual started the game rather slowly and could have been behind early in the game only for the steady defence of Ward and McCutcheon.

As the game went on Dromore started to find their feet and they created a few good chances but were unable to convert these into goals.

Managers Walsh and Haliday decided to make a change at half time with Mulholland coming on for Beattie.

This change was a master stroke with Mulholland adding pace to the forward line and within minutes Dromore broke the deadlock when good inter play from Queenie and Gibson saw Mulholland put through on goal and he made no mistake.

This lifted Dromore who started to pass the ball around with more belief and they added two more goals in a 25 minute spell with Queenie getting one and Gibson the other after cooly lobbing the goal keeper for his.

Dromore then took their foot off the gas and let Rosemount back into the game who were rewarded with a goal scored into his own net by the unlucky Lockhart.

Dromore killed the game off with another fine strike from Queenie to make it 4-1.

Afterwards the management of Walsh and Haliday were very happy with the work rate, attitude of the players and especially the result.

This Saturday sees the Seconds travel to Bangor to play Bangor Amateurs in the league.
