Have your say

As the football season approaches, we have caught up with nine local clubs to see what their hopes are for the year ahead.

Keep an eye on our website over the weekend as we take an in-depth look at the coming campaign with all the managers. We’ll kick things off this evening with Seapatrick and Banbridge Town FC’s look ahead.

Town begin their Championship Two campaign at Crystal Park on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) and their boss Ryan Watson told the LEADER that his new-look squad are aiming for top spot.

They’re not the only ones either. Banbridge Rangers, Moneyslane and Rathfriland are all beginning their league quests this weekend and they all reckon they will have a say at the top of their divisions.

Meanwhile, Seapatrick have bolstered their squad with the signing of former Town boss Brian Adair and Dromore Amateurs have increased their attacking options.

We also spoke to the managers of Banbridge YCOB, Donacloney and Scarva as they prepare for their own curtain-raiser on Saturday 15th August.
