Pedlow has returned to the club for pre-season training and could even feature in the club’s friendly fixtures while McGrath, who recently had surgery on his cruciate ligament, could be back in training by the New Year.

“Adam’s back in the fold and is training tentatively,” said club boss Ryan Watson.

“He has spent the last few months building up mucles round his knee and has worked very hard to get back.

“His attitude has been spot on. He has been taking part in a lot of sessions over the last few weeks but not going at it full throttle yet.

“We’ll keep him ticking over and try to get him a few minutes in the games to build up his knee and his confidence as well. We’ll not rush him. He needs to be right but he will be a great boost to us when he gets back because he’s a very good player.

“Chris McGrath had cruciate surgery in May and will be starting back in light running in two or three weeks.

“He has a long road ahead of him but we will look forward to getting him back in. He’s another great player for us.

“He’ll be working hard at it and hopefully we will have him back in full training around the New Year.”
