Moneyslane’s Blue and White Army have played their part in their side’s surge to the top of the Mid-Ulster Football League.
Slane continued their 100% start to the Intermediate A season on Saturday with a 2-0 victory at Ballymacash.
Adam Montgomery and Johnny Kernaghan bagged the goals to make it four wins from four.
And club stalwart Gareth Bingham says the crowd have been a big part of that run.
“With a lot of changes on and off the pitch this year, the good start to the league has been great for the club as a whole,” he said. “There is a really good buzz about and that has been seen in the support we see on a Saturday, which has been terrific.
“Ballymacash is a tough place to go so to pick up another three points with a clean sheet and keep up the 100% record was fantastic. We play them at home this week in the league again so its important not to become complacent.”
