However, that will be easier said than done as they face high-flying PSNI at Newforge (kick-off 2pm).

The hosts have 12 points more than Ryan Watson’s Town side but, with coming off the back of two successive defeats, it may not be the worst time to face them.

Watson’s men will be buoyed by their win over Portstewart last time out - their first Championship Two victory of the season.

That moved Town off the foot of the tabl and was followed by a free weekend due to semi finals of Bob Radcliffe Cup.

Manager Ryan Watson will now be looking to build on the team’s much improved form, capped off with last weeks win and has a strong squad for Saturday with Stephen Jones fit again and Ryan Gourley and Stephen Croft both available for selection again.

Only Kevin Anderson is unavailable as Town will travel to PSNI with confidence high and a determination to build on the win over Portstewart.
