It's the Kenny and Jim Show with two 66s in the Open
They both shot three under par gross 66.
Kenny (3) won the competition with 42 points while Jim (+2) lifted the best gross prize.
Kenny had birdies at holes two, six, seven, 13, 15 and 16. That’s six in total. A lot of players wouldn’t have that number in a month - or even a whole season.

Hide AdJim played the opening nine holes in five under par. He had an eagle at the fourth hole and birdies at the second, seventh and ninth. The course record was on the cards but the birdies dried up over the second nine.
Kenny and Jim are two amazing golfers. They have been playing the game for a lifetime and they have retained their dedication and enthusiasm over all those years.
Back to the Thursday Open.
Robin Bond (11) was runner-up with 39 points. He had a nasty ding at the second hole but compensated with birdies at holes seven, eight, 14 and 16.
Mark McCoy (5) was third with 39 points.
A strong finish enabled Mark to edge ahead of Ian Craven, Andrew Quinn and Jack McKerr, who all had 39 points.

Hide AdIt was the Kenny and Jim Show though and I’m sorry I missed it.
