Tim and Gary sample the Fondo as Mark knocks an hour off his time
As the Grand Fondo was hosted for the second time, TVR had three entrants pedalling round the gruelling 108 mile Mourne route.
Tim Beattie and Gary Morton entered for the first year and they both finished in and around five hours 30 minutes.
Mark Williamson was able to take an hour off his last year’s time with 6 hours 15 minutes ride time. It was a fantastic day, with perfect weather conditions, great food stops, well organised and best of all was the fantastic support from the public who were out cheering on all the riders, some even setting up their own stalls of water and sandwiches.
TVR would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers, sponsors, volunteers and the PSNI for their part in this top class event and the club look forward to competing again next year.
