Dromore Cycling Club had over 25 members taking part in this years Spring Sixty Sportive run by BCC Camlough.

The proceeds of the sportive go to the ‘Thumbs Up for Harvey’ charity which raises funds for the children’s ward in Daisy Hill.

The 60k route started in Camlough and took in parts around South Armagh and went over the border with a lunch stop at Fitzpatrick’s Restaurant to keep the participants going until the finish.

The club had several members cycling from the town to the sportive and home again to come in with nearly 90 miles for the day and over 3,500 feet of climbing so a big well done to them and all who took part in one of the first Sportives of the year.

Thanks to all at BCC Camlough for a great run, plenty of refreshments and excellent marshalling.

Dromore CC have runs through out the week at 6.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, with a longer Sunday run at 9.30am. They hope to start their Thursday Leisure runs again soon. Please check their Facebook page and website for updates.
