Gerry moves into second place in league

THE fourth round of the winter league took place at Islandderry Fishery, Dromore on Saturday with Gerry Teggart, Belfast taking first place in the round with a three fish brace for 14lb12 and putting him into second place overall with 27 points.

Gerry was fishing his own hares ear patterns to land himself some lovely full finned and tailed rainbows, one of which weighed in at 6lb14.

Ronnie McFadden, Lisburn took second place in this months round with a three fish bag of 11lb8, giving himself a good lead in the overall scores with 34 points.

Ronnie was fishing dancers and returned another 15 trout throughout the day.

Third place went to Paul Brown, Dromore with three fish for 10lb4 while Liam Brunty, Belfast took fourth with his brace of 3 rainbows for 9lb6.
