Branches host a Pawsome Big Summer Read

This year's Big Summer Read sees local libraries inviting children to take part in an animal-themed '˜Pawesome Challenge'.

Bring your child to the library and sign up for the challenge to read between two and 25 books of your choice, collecting an activity booklet and bookmarks along the way.

Bring your membership card to any library or mobile library and get a paw stamp for every book you read. Once you have reached your target you will receive a Pawesome award certificate.”

The challenge lasts until 31 August and it’s free.
