As part of the celebrations for International Women�"s Day on 8th March, 50 female writers from Northern Ireland will travel to the Irish Writers�" Centre in Dublin on 11th March, supported by National Lottery funding through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.  Here they will  join a gathering of women in a joint day-long readathon complemented by an in-train literary recital on the Translink Belfast to Dublin Enterprise train as they travel.  In addition, over 150 female writers from Northern Ireland will take part in a series of free literary events taking place across the region including readings, bookshop appearances and library events, with the aim of inspiring people to read and champion the work of local women writers.  Organised by Women Aloud NI, events begin on 7th March.
