An Emergency Financial Assistance Scheme has been launched to offer assistance for non-domestic properties affected with the unique circumstances caused by the heavy rainfall during the period 7 November 2015 to 31 January 2016.
Small businesses, recreational and community buildings, places of worship and farm businesses in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough affected by flooding due to the extreme weather conditions can now apply for assistance of £1000 (subject to criteria).
Information, application forms and guidance documents are available from the council website at www.armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk or by contacting the Environmental Health Department on 028 3751 5800.
The closing date for applications is 30 April 2016.
The scheme is being administered by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and is jointly funded by DARD and DOE.
DARD will also provide a technical assessment of eligibility in relation to farm businesses if required.
