Banbridge Old Vehicle Club has announced the eighth annual Classic Car Display in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice will take place in Warren Park, Lisburn on Sunday 24th April from
12noon to 5pm
With up to 200 vehicles expected, this could be the largest collection of Classic and Exotic cars ever assembled. A vast selection of cars manufactured during the last 100 years will be on show including a 1907 Model “T” Ford.
Every make of British car is expected, together with German, French, Italian and others. Also on display are sports and exotic cars such as M.G., Austin Healy, Lotus, Porsche, Ferrari and rally cars.
A special collection of Military and Police Vehicles will be seen along with an R.A.F. Jet Fighter Cockpit display.
This promises to be a great spectacle for all the family.
Speaking on behalf of NI Children’s Hospice, Jenay Doyle, Community Fundraiser said; “I would like to sincerely thank the Banbridge Old Vehicle Club for once again organising this event in support of our charity.
“We rely heavily on voluntary income to sustain our services and with the generosity from groups such as this we endeavour to continue providing much needed support both at the Children’s Hospice in Newtownabbey and in local communities across Northern Ireland”.
Warren Park is directly opposite the Lagan Valley Hospital on the A1 Hillsborough Road Lisburn BT 28 1JP.
Banbridge Old Vehicle Club, who are organising this event are inviting owners of Classic and Exotic cars, American and Rally cars, of any age, to bring them along on Sunday 24th April 2014 from 11.00 am.
