Good food will be served up alongside good music at this year’s Banbridge BuskFest in Solitude Park on Saturday 25 June from 11am to 6pm.
The Celebrating Local Market, in partnership with the Food Heartland and NI Year of Food and Drink 2016, will add to the festival feel with the park being filled with ‘appetising aromas’ and ‘tantalising tastes’ as local producers showcase a range of food and drink products with many samples on offer for you to try.
Visitors to the ever-popular music event can take the opportunity to dig into a ‘scrumptious’ selection of all things local and experience the unique market atmosphere.
The Celebrating Local Market at BuskFest is just one in a year-long calendar of events planned to highlight Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Food Heartland producers.
Other activities in Solitude Park on the day will include face painting and balloon modelling from 1pm to 4.30pm.
Comedy double act Jim & Dr. Nick will be performing at 12noon and 2pm.
The market will continue throughout the BuskFest prizegiving which kicks off with Matt McGinn & Friends at 4.30pm.
This is followed by the highly anticipated announcement of the BuskFest prize winners.
Online registration for BuskFest is still open at www.buskfest.com.
