Many played part in event success

Dromore Nursery School principal Sharon Beattie said there were a great many people to thank for their contriutuion to the success of the recent end-of-year-event, not least Banbridge Road Church, Dromore High School, the Red Cross, the Angling Club, the School Governors and the staff.

Of course, most importantly, thanks went to the children of the school and their parents.

At the event itself, Board of Governors chairperson Moira Alexander, encouraged those same parents parents to support the many local businesses who had “so generously supported the event”. More than £500 was donated by local people.

Donors included Phuns Welcome, Clarkes Electrical & Sons Ltd, Nelson-Singleton Solicitors, Banbridge Auto Centre, BJ Cabs, Lena Turner Dental Practice, Gilbrooke Consultancy Ltd, Dromore Meats, 5 Star Fuels and Property Partners.

Also, Chapmans Farm Fresh Foods, Patricia Hamilton School of Music & Performing Arts, C & J Hynds Contracts, Perfect Image Health & Beauty, NIFE – Northern Ireland Food Equipment, Linton Contruction, Linton Agricultural Services, Rath House Antiques, Maguires Takeaway, Serenity Beauty Salon.

And, Unity IT, Oil direct, McN Automation, Candles You Love, Brenda Hale MLA, Councillor Paul Rankin , Mallusk Cold Storage, Johnstons Pharmacy and Jackie’s.

A special thank-you went to Mr Ian Chambers “for providing all the shortbread fingers” and Chapman’s Fresh Farm Food “who have generously supported the school all year and provided the strawberries for over 200 people on the day”.
