Panto fun with all the trimmings in Armagh

There's nothing quite like a dollop of panto fun to put even the biggest Christmas cynic in the festive mood, writes Mairead Holland.

And the Market Place Theatre’s production of Cinderella, in association with Lana Productions, delivers a generous helping of traditional family theatre with all trimmings.

A cast of larger-than-life characters bring the traditional fairytale to life with lot of slapstick action, snappy lines, catchy music and audience interaction.

Nanny Magee-a nod to Nanny McPhee - is on a mission to help Cinderella get to the ball, with help from her magic wand and loveable Buttons.

The cast features Rea Campbell [Buttons], Nicky Harley [Ugly Sister], Naomi Rocke [Ugly Sister], Eoin Mallon [Prince], Debra Hill [Cinderella], and Stephen Beggs [Dame].

The show has broken all records for its opening advance sales, with 90 per cent of all tickets now sold.

Tickets can be booked through the Box Office on [028] 3752 1821, or at www.marketplacearmagh.com.
