Super Tina is finalist in top mum contest

Dromore mum Tina Steenson has been named as a Supermum finalist.

Tina, Supervalu Dromores winner was nominated by her friends for being an inspiration and shining example to her four sons as well as being active within her local community will now go on to attend the celebration event at Stormont on October 1.

She is one of 30 mums from across Northern Ireland who will be honoured at a prestigious ceremony at Stormont in October.

The inaugural SuperValu SuperMums campaign sponsored by P&G, launched in March and received over 200 nominations of inspiring, gutsy and much-loved mothers and 30 finalists have been chosen from SuperValu stores in Northern Ireland.

The final will be hosted by TV personality Claire McCollum who will crown the overall SuperValu SuperMum 2014 and the winner will take home a family holiday to Malaga, courtesy of, with each finalist receiving a pamper hamper.

in their stride and the people who nominated them gave us so much to think about when it came to choosing them as our finalists.

“I’d like to congratulate Tina on being chosen as SuperValu Dromore’s SuperMum and wish her all the best for the grand final.”
