Dromore First XI got back into action on 7 February with an exciting 3-3 draw at Priorians.

They started off strong with good possession of the ball with strong linking play between Jill Brown, Nicky Wilson and Hannah Russell down the right.

After end to end play, Priorians finally found a free player who cleanly struck the ball in to the back of the net.

Dromore came back fighting and with great play from Sarah Russell into the circle, she was able to win a penalty corner. The ball was pulled out well, and Tara Malcolmson struck the ball for a Hannah Russell deflection into the opposition goal.

In retaliation to this, Priorians regained their lead just before a well needed half time whistle.

Dromore came out after half time concentrated and were able to win another penalty corner. After a shot from Nicky Wilson, Chelsey Whan was able to pick up the rebound and slot the ball home.

After a hard fought bout of play, the girls were able to place the ball onto a foot in the circle. Another strike from Nicky Wilson, allowed Sarah Russell to make the score 3-2.

After an unfortunate slip from keeper Hannah Ruddock, a Priorians forward was able to touch the ball over the line, equalling the score at 3-3 and that’s how it finished.
