Dromore Amateurs U15s 0

Ards Youth U15s 0

Dromore U15s took on bottom of the league Ards Youth last Saturday and came away with a disappointing draw.

The windy conditions made it difficult for both teams and with a very narrow pitch to contend with Dromore struggled to get any grip on the game.

With the wind in their favour in the first half, Dromore could only muster two shots on target.

The second half saw the U15s find it tough to get out of their own half.

The best chance for Dromore to break the deadlock came from Jack Moore late in the second half after some close control saw him lob a shot over the Ards keeper only for the ball to hit the underside of the crossbar and rebound out to safety.

This result stretches the U15s unbeaten run to nine games but it was a case of points thrown away in the chase for the League’s top spot.

This Saturday the U15s face Rosario in a crunch match as its second vs third at Cherryvalley with a 10am kick off.

The squad last Saturday was C Walker, J Howard, I Black, J Gregg, B Scott, R Taylor, S Stewart, M McCavitt, O Crozier, B Russell, M Brush, H Thomas, J Moore and A Shelsher.
