Dromara Village’s match with Downpatrick was cancelled on the stroke of kick-off on Saturday after both teams had done their warm up.

The referee deemed a part of the pitch unplayable. This was disappointing to say the least for the boys.

Reserves

The Reserves, meanwhile, continued their recent good run with a 3-1 win at home to Annalong.

Stuart Burns scored the first from a corner with a glancing header. In the second half, 3 three teenagers were introduced to the action and this give extra pace going forward with young Taylor Graham getting the second goal with a cool finish.

The scoring was complete when Alan Wallace ,who was moved up front, showed good composure to curl round the keeper after he beat the last man.

It was another good three points on the board with a major positive being the seven teenagers in the squad.
