Rathfriland FC gear up for annual Fun Day

This Saturday, all roads lead to the now annual John Ingram Memorial Fun Day at Rathfriland FC’s Iveagh Park.

This is a special day in the life of the club calender and one that is and has been brilliantly supported by all sides of the community since its formation eight years ago.

Keeping the link with football, there be a junior football competition for various age groups but as well as this there will be fun for all the family with various other attractions for all age groups including face and nail painting, helium baloons, bouncy slide and bouncy castles, penalty kick, mini tractor race and sports games.

The Fire and Rescue Service will be on show as well as a Mini Tractor Display. As usual, there will be various stalls including refreshments and the traditional barbeque.

Admission for adults is £3 with all children free. This and any other gate donations will be going to the club’s two chosen charities of the Southern Area Hospice and the Lucy Parke Progeria Fund.

This is always a great day for both club and community and Rathfriland FC look forward to the same this coming Saturday with events kicking off at 12.30pm.
