What a day for Dromara Youth

What a weekend it was for the Dromara Village youth teams with some cracking results.

First up was the U17s who had a brilliant win over Lisburn Distillery to make it through to the semi-finals of the Cup. Philly Kerr scored a screamer to win the game 1-0. Super result for this great squad of players.

The U15s continued their brilliant run making it seven wins out of seven since he split in the league. Daniel Harper with a treble, Ryan Gallagher, Ben Hanna and Luke Savage scored the goals in a 6-3 win over Saintfield Utd.

The U13s were involved in an unbelievable game coming back from 4-1 down to beat Portadown Youth 5-4. Timmy Sherlock with 2, Patrick Bustard, Thomas Rainey and Farzer Rogers with the winner. What an exciting game that had everything.

The U11s had a great result beating Loughgall Youth. They played some really good football with some excellent goals scored. Ben Hamilton with a hat-trick and Olivia McDonagh got their goals.

The U9s had two super wins this morning over Dromore and TTBS. These boys continue to go from strength to strength and again their was some lovely football played.

The U8s were at Ballynahinch for their SSG and every player really enjoyed themselves. This kids continue to play with a smile on their face and trying to play football the right way which is pleasing all the coaches.

Well done to all players and managers involved in what was a truly super day for our youth section. Days like today make the hard work and dedication put in through the season all the worthwhile.
