Dromore Cycling Club hosted its inaugural charity sportive on Sunday June 7 to support local charity Via Wings in Dromore.
Over 240 cyclists from all over Ireland congregated at Dromore Rugby Club and set off at 10am with the sun shining.
Two routes were available, a 60km and a more challenging 100km.
Both routes headed to Scarva, Loughbrickland and stopped in Katesbridge for a well earned tea break.
Many cyclists took the opportunity to have a well earned cuppa and buns in the sunshine and catch up with fellow cyclists.
After the tea break the routes split with the 100km taking a more challenging route through the Dromara hills.
There was a terrific atmosphere at the finish line in Dromore with medals being handed out by Via Wings with help from the children of the club members.
There was a buzz at the rugby club with cyclists getting a well earned barbecue, buns, trifle and even an ice-cream from Grahams ice cream truck!
Over £2,800 was raised for Via Wings and Dromore CC would like to thank all the cyclists, volunteers, and local businesses that supported a brilliant day for the club and Dromore.
